Dead eyes
Grey skies
Stinking bodies
Timeless cries
All this
and more I have seen
these fields are dripping
with the blood I can't lose

Where I go
That, i know:
Not to love,
Not to hail!
No one will
Remember me
For they can die
and I can not!

Careful! My stare is Empty. My dreams -
Forgotten! When will this
End?

Now i beg the gods
To take this gift back!
No one can love me, no one can feel
The ravishing seclusion that I carry!

Take me! Take my breath.
Hunt me, with daggers!
Take me! Take my heart.
Leave no trace!

I was hoping that my gift
Would allow me to learn, woul allow me to see the world as it is
I was hoping to forget you and to focus on music, on art
Not on ashes...

Why am I so weak?
What have I done?
I need a thousand years of sleep

Whatever burden you have wished upon me
I'd gladly have it, instead of this.

I need to rest my eyes,
My breath, my heart - I smile.
I lay down with you
I never will awake.

As the silver of the skiline
Turns crimson, like my hands,
Swallows sing my funeral,
Swallows with no name.
